Power The Fight empowers communities to end violence affecting young people. Since 2009, over 200 children aged 17 and under have been killed by sharp objects in England and Wales. Tackling the root issues requires a holistic approach involving specialists from a wide range of disciplines. Power The Fight aims to educate, equip, engage, and enable communities to address the issue of violence affecting young people in the UK.

Power the Fight has grown quickly since its founding in 2019, creating long-term solutions for sustainable change and acting as a link between the community and policy makers. Most of the work is with young people, families, schools, local authorities, faith groups and community organisations who want to be equipped to engage with issues related to violence affecting young people in their context.

They are now looking for their first Director of Finance and Operations. This person will work alongside the CEO and Board to oversee all financial and operational aspects of the organisation, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strategic growth. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Finance and Operations will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s continued growth and impact.
