Reporting to: Project Superintendent

Location: 152 Conant Street, Beverly, MA (not a remote position)

Shift: Full Time M-F, 7am to 4pm

Summary

The Commercial Carpenter/Laborer supports all trades personnel on our construction projects by performing essential, basic carpentry tasks, daily preparation and clean-up of the job site, and other various construction tasks, under the supervision of the Foreman/Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Proper handling of building materials this includes but is not limited to: loading/unloading, organization and distribution of machinery and tools to the appropriate personnel and work areas, according to the direction of the superintendent 
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps and other temporary structures
• Measure, mark and record openings and distances 
• Grind, chip, scrape, sand and polish various surfaces 
• Build, position and dismantle forms for pouring concrete 
• Perform other rough carpentry tasks as needed
• Assist in maintaining a clean and professional job site
• Other duties manual labor and seasonal tasks as needed

Education and/or Experience

•  Minimum of one year of experience required.
