FiberRise, an ENTRUST Solutions Company, is seeking a Broadband Service Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-focused background, have the ability to pay close attention to details, and possess exceptional communication skills. The Broadband Service Representative will be responsible for managing multiple projects while maintaining the highest level of customer service to customers. Only qualified candidates that live in or are willing to relocate to the Knoxville, TN area will be considered.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities


• Promotes good public and customer relations when communicating with customers, banks, electrical inspectors, contractors, etc. by answering inquiries and giving information related to company business and job duties.

• Informs and maintains good relationships through cooperation, coordination, and communication that will result in the most benefit to the company.

• Answers incoming calls from customers, triaging, and prioritizes service requests, enters and updates service tickets, and assigns appropriate staff to respond.

• Schedules, cancels and reschedules customer appointments.

• Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor when communicating with customers and Install Technicians by phone and email.

• Promotes good public and customer relations when communicating with customers, banks, electrical inspectors, contractors, etc. by answering inquiries and giving information related to company business and job duties.

• Briefs and debriefs the Install Technicians before and after a service call.

• Maintains a safe working environment by adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations set forth by utility, local, state, and federal law.

• Serves customers by providing the service requested, answering questions, and offering assistance.


Required Qualifications:


• High School Diploma

• A minimum of 2 years of data entry experience and a record of quality customer service skills

• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong problem analysis and problem resolution skills. 


Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a job-related field preferred.

• Knowledge of fiber broadband technology and services is a plus.

• Must possess visual acuity and manual dexterity

• Must possess the ability to listen and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

• Constantly uses the keyboard, grasping, holding, and repetitive motions with hands.

• Frequently sits while working at a desk.

• Frequently reaches outward.

• Occasionally reaches over shoulder

• Occasionally walks short distances around the office while performing job duties.

• Occasionally kneels, stands, and squats while performing duties of the job.

• Occasionally lifts and carries up to 20 lbs.


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:


 • Work is performed predominately indoors in an office environment.
