Success Outcome 1: Build Relationships

You will build exceptional relationships by:

  • In close consultation with the Search Director, engage with clients throughout the search process, developing skills in executive presence, maintaining favorable CSAT and NPS (>9) scores from our clients
  • Engaging with clients in the Search Director's absence. Conducting updates, YSIs, finalist presentations etc
  • Using existing relationships from your personal network and prior Y Scouts clients to reengage and solicit new business
  • Working with other members of the operations team identify internal talent and assist in interviewing and evaluating potential new team members
  • Working closely with candidates for each search, conducting discovery calls and Y Scouts interviews to determine alignment for the role under consideration
  • Managing time and priorities for self and team in order to balance a full search load


Success Outcome 2: Make an Impact

You will make an impact by:

  • Drive the success of 5-10 searches at any given time
  • In partnership with the Search Director, own preparation of all client-facing documents for each search, including Opportunity Profiles, Search Strategies, Finalist Presentations, and Client Updates
  • Proactively identify and set personal weekly activity goals based on candidate pipeline and needs of the search
  • Leveraging the search team partnership, creating lead funnels and integrating into key search conversations and relationships to identify additional sales opportunities
  • Act as a true search & sourcing advisor to our clients, owning and delivering the “Search Strategy” portion of our client strategy sessions on a regular basis
  • Create and execute quarterly Rocks aligned with improving our company, and gaining exposure to other areas of the business

  • Learning the Y Scouts Way which includes Y Scouts' unique approach to leadership search and the methodology for conducting search
  • Learning the EOS Traction model used by Y Scouts to run the business and commit to working with Traction processes and best practices
  • Exposure to executive conversations and advisory - high levels of confidence, engagement and direction
  • Before each search, investigate the unique nature of each search project, resulting in the development of a clear search plan
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the Y Scouts Way, partnering with the Practice Directors to prioritize areas for improvement and implement the change
