Search consultants will work to strategically fill MGR/V/S/EVP, and C-Suite positions across our target sectors. Execute national search efforts utilizing unique retained search techniques and methodologies to find the best talent across all gender, ethnic, racial, and religious demographics. Search consultants will also need to effectively manage both client and candidate experience, with exceptional attention to detail, throughout the lifecycle of a search. Essential job functions include:
Conduct 12-15 MGR/V/S/EVP and/or C-Suite executive searches.
Full Accountability for active management of full life-cycle searches, beginning with an initial consultation to candidate offer and placement.
Responsible for managing research assignments including market/competitive intelligence.
Establish strategic relationships with Executive Leadership, Hiring Leaders, HR managers, and consultants. Operate as subject-matter expert for clients with respect to expectations and facilitating search engagements.
Direct networking and business development within Fortune 1000 and Russell 3000 Index companies.
Develop strong research, industry, and conference networks. Utilize networks to create business opportunities and manage active searches.
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and build strategic client relationships and brand Focus & Find® as the solution provider of choice to assist our clients in achieving their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Manage all facets of the executive on-boarding process.
Essential job requirements:
5+ years in executive recruiting or retained search
Combination of corporate and executive search experience is preferred.
Experience managing executive relationships.
Experience in one of our targeted economic industries is preferred.
Experience hiring executive talent.
Consummate client management skills including ability to drive, process, and establish credibility. Ability to build and maintain strategic, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. Balance assertive business development with high-touch, premier client service. Ability to interact with people at all levels. Intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly learn complex business functions. Exceptional team player. Independent thinker. Experience working in one of our identified areas. Must be innovative in creating strategies and conducting research. Must have highly developed phone skills and techniques. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong emotional intelligence, an eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office365 Suite and comfortable working in a remote, cloud-based environment.
BS or BA in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or relevant work experience.
