Senior (Voice) Network Engineer II

We are seeking a Sr. Network (Voice) Engineer II, to Install and support phone systems from documented requirements and specifications. A Sr. Network (Voice) Engineer II possesses and applies a broad knowledge of Cisco systems principles, practices, and procedures related to installation and support of complex systems.


Requirements:

  • Install and support phone systems from documented requirements and specifications
  • Work with business analysts and project managers to determine project requirements
  • Develop test plans and documentation
  • Design solutions and complete projects
  • Understand all domain-level data within a given system
  • Answer system and project-level questions from the Business
  • Become proficient at estimating projects based on knowledge of current architecture
  • Demonstrate knowledge of systems and technologies used by the team
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams on various projects
  • Learn about new technologies and make proposals to use them as appropriate


Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze problems and create solutions
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work load
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience with Cisco products or the like
  • Minimum of a BS degree or equivalent work experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Cisco Networking and VOIP, and Active Directory
  • Ability to create and follow SOPs
