We are looking for an organized and friendly individual to join our growing chiropractic team! You would be responsible for assisting the doctor with patient care and other administrative responsibilities. At Nurture Wellbeing we are dedicated to helping our patients achieve their wellness objectives- whether they are in physical pain, have chronic illness, are overly stressed, pregnant or simply want more growth and self-empowerment. Our next chiropractic assistant will be instrumental in helping our patients achieve their health goals!

What you will do

Our Practice is offering an opportunity to showcase your customer service and organizational skills as a Chiropractic Assistant. We are looking for a positive person with great people and communication skills and a passion for helping others through natural and holistic healthcare. Excellent relationship building skills are a must to ensure service is provided with a high degree of quality. You will be responsible for creating a warm and hospitable environment in the treatment area, assisting the doctor, answering patient's questions, and much more!


Main Responsibilities:

● Input reevaluation, x-ray and scan results into computer

● Maintain patient care plan records on computer

● Make verification calls to insurance companies and prepare insurance receipts

● Collect testimonials

● Ask for patient referrals

● Maintain x-ray and exam room supplies & equipment

● Maintain & update patient progress forms

● Assist Office Coordinator with administrative tasks

● Perform spinal scans and re-evaluations

●Take new patient histories and assist with patient consultations


What you need

●    A sincere interest in health and wellness

●    Ability to work in a fast pace environment

●    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows is preferred

●    Previous experience in customer service must be demonstrated

 

Things you should know

Pay  $18-$20/hr


Schedule

Tuesday, Thursday 8:15am-6:45pm (in addition 1 time per month staying until 8:45pm for Thursday evening workshop)

Wednesday (flexible, 4 to 5 hours)

Friday 1:15pm-6:45pm

Saturday - 8:15am-1:45pm
