Are you a Staff Accountant looking to work with a company with a great mission? One of the largest affordable housing builder in North America, is seeking a Staff Accountant in its Rancho Cucamonga office. Reporting to a CPA, this opportunity will give a new graduate an opportunity to work in a growing real estate industry as well as work under a strong mentor.

Responsibilities:

• All aspects of accounting and financial reporting for 7-10 entities
• Prepare tenant recovery and rental revenue variance explanations
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to sub-ledgers/supporting schedules
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Record monthly journal entries
• Construction loan d\raws
• Review and approve property-related invoices
• Participate in ad-hoc projects such as process improvement projects, internal and external audit requests, department goals and initiatives, and other special projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• HomeBuilding, Real Estate or Construction industry experience is required
• Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
• Yardi Accounting software experience is required
