Job Description


Our client, a rapidly growing, international software company which helps businesses with their human resources management, is hiring a General Manager. The General Manager is responsible for the leadership, planning, developing, and oversight of all commercial activities to ensure region revenue, profit and customer satisfaction goals are met for the region and business operations. The primary responsibility is to develop and lead regional business units to achieve revenue targets while selling a premium product line in a complex selling environment and the execution of service delivery. The General Manager will oversee and manage key performance metrics to include funnel management, value selling, and long-range planning. The General Manager will operate in a matrix organization, and will be responsible for leading the commercial organization, while also providing strategic leadership across the different functions.


Key Responsibilities:


·        Expected to meet or exceed plan for growth in region for new and existing business accounts.

·        Overall performance of the commercial organization in region including the responsibilities of coaching, developing, and providing ongoing feedback and guidance on professional development.

·        Create and executes actionable strategies for the commercial team based upon sales data analytics and market insights.

·        Hire, assess, coach and motivate high performing associates and commercial leaders.

·        Leverage people leadership capabilities by engaging and developing a high-performance team.

·        Understanding and utilizing key market dynamics for developing and closing complex sales

·        Developing and implementing customer-specific action plans.

·        Developing and recruiting key partnerships in region

·        Prospecting, recruiting and training of key personnel.

·        Work with Executive Leadership and Marketing to provide market insights.

·        Ability to travel 20% of the time.

·        Maintains effective collaboration and coordination of internal resources to ensure company sales targets are met.

·        Experience planning and driving new product launch strategies in conjunction with Product Marketing.

·        Provides consistent field interaction and communication to ensure company's message is clearly communicated.

·        Ability to connect with and coordinate between key customers and internal/external stakeholders to promote and expand business opportunities.

·        Acts as the regional managing director or regional CEO on behalf of company.
