Sales Associate – Financial Services

 

Our Company:

Our company is an independent investment advisory firm founded in 2017. Our team leverages 35 years of experience to provide clients with a deeper level of advisory insight with research, security analysis, portfolio management and wealth management strategies.

We serve a varied group of clients around the country that include business leaders, executives and high net worth investors. Our clients typically have a net worth of over $2 million.

We are looking to grow our team with the addition of a skilled and dynamic sales specialist whose focus will be on business development. 

 

Responsibilities include:

·        Develops new business relationships

o  Contacts prospective clients to gain an understanding of the client’s financial goals

o  Presents information and explains available financial services

o  Builds and maintain lasting relationships with clients to meet their needs

·        Generates leads for prospective clients

o  Sources from current customers, referral leads, marketing activities, networking opportunities, social media, etc.

o  Conducts cold outreach through phone calls, email, and social media strategies

o  Networks in the community on behalf of the firm

·        Assists with operational support as needed

o  Gathers and updates client contact information in database

o  Completes paperwork to open new accounts

o  Manages documentation and database information

 

 

Qualifications:

·        Prefer Series 7, not required.

·        Excellent communication and rapport building skills.

·        Integrity, focus, self-starter, outgoing, openness to new skills and ways of thinking to stay competitive.

·        Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.

·        Desire to work with a Team, share a vision for our culture and common goals.

·        Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook.

·        Some knowledge of the investment management industry.
