Position: Construction Administrator/Accounting

 

 

Job Summary:  

This position will support the construction team with a focus on managing all administrative aspects of all construction projects from start to finish. 

Responsibilities:

•      Direct subcontractor, vendor, and supplier process by assembling bid packages including scope of work, bidding process, and needed construction documents

•      Oversee construction contract administration and submittal/RFI log processes to ensure that the contract document requirements are met throughout the construction experience

•      Prepare invoices, subcontracts, change orders, and purchase orders.

•      Track lien waivers for all subcontractors.

•      Setup and coordinate draw meetings as required by lenders

•      Maintain accurate work logs of construction activities, such as, tracking change orders, purchase orders and contract signatures.

•      Assist construction project managers to estimate and adhere to proper budgets, create project schedules, and communicate project updates

•      Coordinating the picking up and mailing out of checks and overnighting packages

•      Obtaining partner signatures for legal documents and draws 


Professional and Personal Competencies:


Education & Experience

•      High School Diploma

•      Bachelor’s Degree a plus

•      Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe

•      Executive Assistant experience

•      Experience and knowledge in real estate (construction) and/or legal background 

•      Strong written and verbal correspondence skills

•      Yardi experience a plus
