Our company is searching for a Strategic Accounts Manager. The Strategic Accounts Manager is the primary point of contact for a key client of the company for the Floor & Décor Account. The Strategic Accounts Manager reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales within our Sales Department and interfaces with our product development, customer service, purchasing, and design teams.  

 

What you will do 

·        Serve as the primary point of contact. Responsible for the daily management of all inquiries for Floor & Decor and other designated clients to support their accounts. 

·        Formulate the overall objectives and strategies to develop high-value relationships within all areas. 

·        Analyze existing and anticipated client needs and promote company services to meet such requirements. 

·        Strategic engagement with sourcing, design, client, and product development teams to better establish the relationship and comfort level for the client. 

·        Strategically participate in client/ factory visits to strengthen customer relationships and factory support. 

·        Closely interact with customer service, marketing, procurement, and sourcing teams to handle client requests and requirements. 

·        Work on strategic ideas to enhance, market, and grow the business. 

·        Maintain master item list and discontinued list. 

·        Generate and develop added-value business with clients to meet specified production goals ensuring samples are being shipped, tracked, and received according to specific quality control measures. 

·        Responsible for the preparation of line review samples and price lists. 

·        Work closely with the design team to conduct Product Line Review (PLR) presentations with the clients' buying teams and provide supporting information. 

·        Coordinate PLR meetings and manage all correspondence follow-ups. 

·        Coordinate Vendor Price Offer (VPO) and update with any revision changes with the team. 

·        Coordinate/hand off "Item Set Up" between the Sourcing Team and the Procurement Team when clients' selection has been confirmed. 

·        Responsible for making sure pricing and packing set up requirements/processes for internal ERP system as well as clients' requirements are coordinated. 

·        Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, tracking work as specified by the manager. 

·        Manage and maintain the preparation and implementation of monthly forecasting and sales reporting as requested. 

·        Understand prospective clients' culture, product portfolio, competitive position, financial state, investment plan, organization structure, and key decision makers. 

·        Function as liaison between client and operations staff. 

·        Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepare post­ event reports and analysis. 

·        Perform other related duties as assigned by management. 

·        Travel, including overnight, up to 50% of the time.
