Marketing Communications Manager

Position Summary

Marketing Communications Management–Management: The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for overseeing strategic communications to external global audiences including email marketing, SMS marketing and public relations. You will work with your own experiential marketing team, individual stakeholders, and other work groups to execute campaign communications, aligning to the global marketing strategy and reporting on performance. You must be a world-class individual contributor but love to collaborate with others as you know it yields the best results. You must possess a great understanding of the customer journey and being able to analyze data to deliver targeted content. You will lead a growing team, so leadership skills come with the territory.

As part of your day-to-day, you will: 

·       Be responsible for Customer and Distributor communications 

·       Determine appropriateness and timing of messages based on company climate, campaign objectives and performance goals 

·       Ensure communication is consistent throughout all channels to eliminate messaging gaps 

·       Manage essential and time-critical communications activities 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (others may be assigned):

      Demonstrate and help develop a culture of operational excellence where customer focus, brand reputation, and team collaboration are a priority.

      Work with other internal departments to ensure accurate and timely communications and press releases are appropriately released into the market.  

      Create consistent and compelling internal and external messaging, demonstrate ROI, set metrics and develop global visions. 

      Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a communications plan to support the company’s strategic priorities, drive growth and build brand loyalty.

      Manage corporate communications efforts, keeping all communications on brand and on message.

      Maintain Corporate Digital Communication Calendar.

      Supervise and provide training, coaching, direction and leadership to direct reports.

      Hire and oversee external agencies or contractors as needed.

      Work requires occasional travel and willingness to work a flexible schedule.

 Education/Experience                  

      Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or Information Technology

      Preferably at least 1+ years of experience managing a team of people. 

      Preferred MLM/network marketing experience 

      Knowledge of planning marketing strategies and successful communication efforts. 

 

Qualifications/Skills

      4+ years of marketing communications or public relations experience.

      Impeccable writing and editing skills, excellent grammar, and a passion for creativity.

      Agency experience is a plus.

      Expertise using Omnisend for email and SMS communication.

      Expertise of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics (Google Keyword Tool).

      Google certifications are a plus.

      CRO experience is a major plus.

      Understanding of WordPress, HTML and CSS.

      Competent computer skills to perform essential functions listed above.

      Superior time management.
