Our business is undergoing transformation and shift towards using public cloud and we need experienced architects to help us in moving the monolithic systems to modern cloud-based solutions.
As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for researching and recommending specific systems, applications, data, or process designs for large or complex cloud infrastructure solutions.
In instances where the solution does not exist, you will be relied upon to invent a unique solution. They design, develop, and analyze overall architecture to determine that hardware, software and data architecture solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
Be a key contributor on architectural governance, decisions related to projects, and participate as part of a cross functional architecture decision group both collaboratively within Intel and as an externally regarded leader in the space.
About the role:
· Define strategy with respect to enterprise related standards and design goals; provide technical design and architectural leadership, including documenting and diagramming the logical and physical, and process views across multiple technology domains.
· Responsible for providing technology leadership and oversight of the project portfolio. The portfolio may consist of multiple, cross-functional projects of varying complexities, in support of strategic business initiatives and regulatory requirements.
· Liaise with other teams including, but not limited to Business (LOBs), Enterprise Information Security, IT Delivery, Solutions Architects, Data Architects, Domain Architects, Risk, Operations, Corporate Function etc. for coordination on programs and projects.
· Facilitate organizational change by defining strategies for the banking clients with respect to technology standards, industry models and design goals; evaluate business requirements in the early stages of projects to determine what software, integration technologies, system architectures and patterns should be employed to meet business objectives efficiently; participate in the development of roadmaps, which include product selection, implementations, data migrations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
· Identify and advise clients on emerging technology solutions in the retail and commercial banking businesses that reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide more value, capabilities, reduce risks and increase security.
· Collaborate with project teams to lead solution design, project proposals, proof-of-concepts, and delivery of the solution implementation including integration with both internal and external applications
· Communicate best practices by giving presentations, working with project teams, and authoring content aimed at educating others about standards, strategies, and otherwise defined best practices
· Play a lead role in shaping and participating in THE BANK’s governance committees
· Run and facilitate THE BANK’s Strategy Technology Panel, working w/ leaders from across the bank on meaningful strategic technology and architecture decisions.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
· Work with Finastra, third party system integration, and stakeholders across THE BANK to implement Loan IQ as the core loan servicing platform, enabling the onboarding of new loans and conversion of the existing loan portfolio.
· In-depth knowledge on how to integrate Loan IQ with bank's upstream and downstream systems, for example a loan-origination system, and downstream systems, for example general ledger, payment system, etc.
· Develop and maintain conceptual, logical and physical architecture artifacts for LoanIQ. Drive consensus on transition, and target state architecture leading to ARB approval.
· Work with implementation partners and domain experts to transform the business requirements into a feasible Loan IQ solution.
· Partner with product and engineering team to develop technical roadmap of Loan IQ implementation solution.
· Knowledge of architectural patterns such as micro-services, event-driven, Domain driven, etc. Ability to choose best fit solution/pattern and define trade-offs and drive implementation.
· Hand on knowledge of AWS and various services offered by the provider.
· Knowledge of banking domains, value streams and products/solutions for them.
Required Experience
· Bachelors Degree
· In depth knowledge Loan IQ architecture with 10 Years of experience as a technical leader defining and communicating technical roadmaps as a Loan IQ solution architect.
· Min 15 years of progressive experience in a software development environment with at least 5 years in an architect role
· 5+ years of Banking domain preferable commercial bank.
· 3+ years of Cloud Experience.
