The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR Director supporting North American

Operations (Salt Lake City, UT and Louisville, KY).

We are looking for a Human Resource Generalist to join our The Company HR Team at our Salt Lake City, Utah location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for human resources and helping employees with a desire to work

and advance in our growing international healthcare company.

Working in HR requires excellent interpersonal skills being

friendly, helpful, positive, professional, and comfortable working closely with others at all job levels.

This position requires the incumbent to work on-site.


Responsibilities

  • Administers various human resource plans for employees, including the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Participates in execution of department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Conducts full-cycle recruitment efforts for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary employees. This

includes managing relationships with temporary agencies and recruitment firms.

  • Responsible for new-hire administrative onboarding activities.
  • Coaches management through change management and performance management issues.
  • Supports employee relations activities as necessary (plans of action, separations/terminations, etc.).
  • Responds to employee questions and requests for information, utilizing self-service tools and vendor

programs.

  • Completes HRIS data entry for Operations. Assists with HR reporting, tracking, and other metrics.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop local solutions, programs and

policies aligned with our Global HR Standards.

  • Maintains compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


Qualification profile

  • Minimum of 3 - 4 years HR experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • HR certification desired.
  • Prior HR experience working in a manufacturing/production facility preferred.
  • Basic employee benefits and compensation knowledge.
  • Strong, demonstrated computer skills, specifically in the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), HRIS systems (ADP, SAP, etc.) and Applicant Tracking systems (SAP, ClearCompany, etc.)
  • Self-motivated, personable, strong work ethic and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated attentional to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle pressure and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Travel required approximately 3-4 times per year.
