VP Experience Marketing – Utah

 

 

Position Summary 

Company is on the search for an innovative VP of Experience Marketing to champion the consumer experience across all digital touchpoints and channels. This role serves as the ultimate brand advocate and the successful candidate will have passion, as well as robust experience, delivering memorable, loyalty-driving initiatives, programs and projects, that drive revenue growth and customer retention.

 

The VP of Experience Marketing will oversee many functions of the marketing department including digital marketing, communications, customer retention, web management, and UI/UX, as well as the creative and media teams. The role interacts daily with executive team members, cross-functional leaders and teams, and external vendors, to ensure the programs and projects are delivered with excellence, and that the Company consumer experience remains second to none. This role requires a keen self-starter and multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to make both long-term strategic decisions and quick decisions under pressure. The successful candidate will have exceptional team management and development skills as well as the ability to step seamlessly into execution across the marketing team.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (others may be assigned):

  • Create consistent and compelling internal and external campaigns, demonstrate ROI, set metrics and develop global initiatives. 

·       Build, maintain and continuously improve, the Company customer loyalty program and customer retention-driving initiatives.

  • Build, maintain and continuously improve, experience marketing plans for product launches, new programs and other business initiatives.
  • Maximize Distributor and customer communication strategies with strong plans that drive business objectives and growth. 
  • Manage and prioritize the marketing digital roadmap, seeking to improve Company consumer experiences across all digital touchpoints, working closely with Company digital team to test and execute experience updates.
  • Manage the execution of visual brand initiatives including, but not limited to, label designs, UI design, video and social assets.
  • Set departmental goals and KPIs for marketing channels and Franklin Covey 4DX initiatives, reviewing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly, as needed to ensure progress towards targets.
  • Set and manage team budgets.
  • Analyze data from consumer touchpoints to make decisions for roadmap and communications plans moving forward.
  • Champion brand awareness, consideration and product trial through social media and digital channels, strategies and initaitves.
  • Continuously improve workflows and processes to ensure team is set up for executional and cross-functional success.
  • Lead team career and skill development, holding effective team meetings to provide consistent role clarity, set expectations, and provide performance feedback.
  • Delegate and manage tasks to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.
  • Hire and oversee external agencies or contractors as needed. 
  • Work requires occasional travel and willingness to work a flexible schedule.  

 

Education/Experience

  • 10+ year’s experience in marketing, communications, brand management, digital, or another related area
  • 5+ year’s experience of managing a team
  • MLM/Network Marketing and health and wellness industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or another related area

 

 

Qualifications/Skills 

In order to be considered for this role, the following skills must be demonstrated:

  • Strong sense of building relevant brands in the health and wellness industry
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to communicate succinctly and clearly when dealing with employees, distributors, vendors and company contacts. 
  • Competent in standard operating systems and process systems (Monday.com, ProofHQ, or similar) 
  • Proficient in leveraging social media channels for marketing purposes and related monitoring tools. 
  • Motivated self-starter who comes to the table understanding barriers to success and a plan for overcoming those barriers.
