Code Red Partners is working closely with an extremely innovative financial technology company with north of 1B in total funding who is looking for a Manager of Detection and Response. Ideally, this would be a passionate Security Leader with expertise in incident response and threat detection. You’ll be part of the Security Operations team and closely partner with multiple teams across the business driving threat detection and response initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Lead enterprise detection and response and be an SME for incidents across the business
- Design a strategy to monitor threats and vulnerabilities
- Work in a AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architecture
- Manage and improve detection capabilities across the org
- Lead a team of high-performing security engineers developing solutions focused on threat detection, security operations and incident response
- Develop roadmaps, tracking progress, and evaluating team / functions performance.
- Collaborate across company verticals and interact with executive leadership
Does this sound like you?
- 10+ years of security experience, ideally in incident response, detection engineering and/or DFIR
- Advanced domain knowledge in managing and building modern detection capabilities
- Executive presence and experience leading teams
- Strong ability to lead and work collaboratively across teams during high-stress situations.
- Enthusiasm for automation, scalable and reproducible security practices.
- Experience working in an AWS environment desired.
