Summary:

Under the supervision of the Information Technology Director, the Microsoft Dynamics Technical and Functional Lead is responsible for documenting and designing functional requirements, application configuration, upgrade, security administration, change management, monitoring, auditing, and integrations for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Sales.

 

Requirements:

Education/ Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of Dynamics 365, including administration, configuration, customization, maintenance, and security
  • Must read and speak Spanish and English with technical and business-level proficiency.
  • Microsoft Azure, Dynamics, or Power Platform Certification is preferred.

 

Experience/ Skills:

  • At least 3 years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management experience.
  • Experience with Dynamics Business Central specifically is strongly preferred but will consider those with F&O platform experience.
  • Proven technical experience with Dynamics application architecture, designing & building custom workflows, and Power Platform
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure
  • Experience with systems integrations using API is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with functional and technical teams to understand and gather requirements to design and develop modifications and extensions to Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Develop To-Be Process flows leveraging best practices
  • Manage all levels of system administration support for all Dynamics 365 environments.
  • Manage release and change management processes for Dynamics 365
  • Deploy and manage development environments and perform periodic non-production database refreshes.
  • Monitor application performance, system integrations and communicate maintenance or performance issues notifications.
  • Assist in maintaining and test system configurations and workflows.
  • Manage user accounts, security roles, and permissions within the D365 environment – including provisioning.
  • Provide as needed support for troubleshooting and remediation of Dynamics technical issues escalating problems to Microsoft when appropriate.
  • Conduct systems and user audits supporting compliance and data governance.
  • Create requested documentation supporting system design, development, and testing and training.
  • Perform maintenance and development work consistent with company standards and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to D365 users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  •  Develop and deliver training materials (as needed) and sessions to educate users on D365 functionality and best practices – especially new features in upgrades.
  •  Act as a point of contact for user inquiries and escalations, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Follow safe work procedures and Company safety policies and procedures, which includes but is not limited to:
  • Obeying warning signs and postings
  • Immediately reporting any injury, accident, or near-miss incidents
  • Reporting unsafe hazards and unsafe conditions
  • Completing safety training by the due date
  • Using personal protective equipment as required by the employer
  • Perform additional duties as required.
