Epicor Developer
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Epicor Developer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. This remote role, with an estimated 10% travel requirement, involves the development, customization, and optimization of Epicor solutions to enhance our business processes and operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the modern Epicor software stack and demonstrate a strong ability to translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Epicor ERP Development: Design, develop, and implement customizations and new features in the Epicor ERP system to meet the unique requirements of our manufacturing operations.
2. Business Process Analysis and Improvement: Work closely with various departments to understand their processes and challenges, and leverage Epicor solutions to optimize workflows and efficiency.
3. Data Management and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate data management systems within Epicor, including the creation of custom reports and dashboards.
4. System Integration: Integrate Epicor ERP with other business applications and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
5. User Support and Training: Provide ongoing support to Epicor ERP users, addressing technical issues and conducting training sessions to enhance user competence and system utilization.
6. Project Management: Lead and participate in ERP projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Epicor software updates and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to the ERP system.
8. Travel Requirements: Be willing to travel up to 10% for project implementation, training, or team meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Epicor ERP development.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epicor tools such as BAQs, BPMs, and Service Connect. Experience with C#, .NET, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
3. Understanding of Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes, and how they integrate with ERP systems.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with a self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks and projects.
7. Travel Capability: Willingness and ability to travel as needed (approximately 10%).
