Our family-owned landscaping company is seeking a Landscape Foreman with at least 3 years of supervisory experience in landscape construction to lead our landscaping crews. This landscape foreman position is crucial to the quality, safety, and success of every project. This is the perfect foreman position for a landscaper who wants to help our business grow.

Responsibilities:


  • Work alongside your crew members interfacing with customers.
  • In this role, you must understand budgets, crew productivity, equipment usage, scheduling, blueprints, specifications, and what goes into every aspect of the landscape construction process.
  • Expectations are to manage a crew of 2-5 members
  • It is your responsibility to make sure all projects are completed in a timely manner, with a high standard of quality, and within budget
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate your crew's daily and weekly job activities.
  • Monitor your crew's time through the QuickBooks Time Tracking application and tracking of time on each project.
  • Work with vendors and customers, complete change orders, collect delivery/vendor receipts, and document all expenses to the correct project.
  • Meet the Company's workmanship quality standards, complete projects efficiently, and mentor your crew members.
  • Maintain a safe work site; follow the Company safety program and always participate in company meetings.
  • Attend on-site coordination and scheduling meetings with Company owner, project managers, and general contractors.

Work Schedule: Work 8-10+ hours per day, Monday-Friday with Saturdays as required



Requirements:


  • Extensive knowledge of reading landscape designs/plans, landscape grading, softscapes, hardscapes, irrigation, drainage, and layout
  • Knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment (skid steers, trenchers, mini excavators)
  • Excellent communication, leadership skills, and basic computer skills
  • Have a working cellphone for work purposes
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
