If you are an experienced Community Bank Controller with CFO aspiration this is for you. The timeline to CFO is realistic, and the current CFO is motivated to mentor you to that level as they have other responsibilities within the bank.

• This is a succession role; you will be given the opportunity to lead the Strategic side of "Finance & Accounting"
• Yes, you will prepare the ALCO reports, however you will also be involved in the planning and strategic implementation that comes from this report
• Interest Rate Risk, this will be your baby (with mentorship as needed), you will be the one to make to lead this process
• Liquidity Management, you will be the one to make recommendations and implement them on how to best meet the short and long term strategic needs of the bank
• Accounting will report to you
• Yes, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the board
• You will have the mentorship of the CFO, however you will be the one tasked with leading the Finance and Accounting group, with an emphasis on Finance
• Having worked with this bank for over 8 years, and knowing some of the key players for well over a decade I can tell you they work very well together, have created a synergy your rarely see
• They have experience from pre-covid on remote work and leveraging video conferencing to maintain the connection, they also truly like each other. They were able to hone these skills even more during covid.
• You will have the opportunity as your team grows to continue to deliver on the culture as you build your team
• If you live or wish to live in California this could be for you. Even if you are relocating it will still be a primarily remote role if you prefer
