KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Procurement Analyst for an immediate contract engagement with our government client.

 

Work Location: This position is hybrid.

 

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced procurement professionals for various roles, including procurement processing, management, leadership, and supervisory positions.Candidates should have experience in procurement, contracts, and purchasing, along with knowledge of guidelines specified in the Mississippi Code, the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), and/or the Department of Information Technology Services (ITS).


Responsibilities:

Procurement Support: Assist departments in obtaining necessary price quotes in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Bid Coordination: Play a crucial role in coordinating the formal bid process by advertising proposals and soliciting bids for various agency projects.

Property Management: Involve in property management tasks, including the acquisition, accountability, assignment, maintenance, and disposal of agency property.



Required Skills:

Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications, which will be used to evaluate their eligibility:

  • Knowledge of Contract Management: Proficiency in managing contracts effectively.
  • Understanding of Procurement and Purchasing Laws: Familiarity with procurement and purchasing regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Advanced Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to coordinate and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with administration, faculty, staff, and external contacts.
