Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement support for the Foster Care Portal, a Salesforce application used by our client.
The Foster Care Portal serves as a comprehensive platform for families to apply for and obtain fostering licenses, consolidating all related information in one place. It currently facilitates inquiry submissions and application processing. Child Placement Agencies (CPAs) assist users with training and procedures necessary to become licensed foster homes. Continuous updates and maintenance of portal information are essential aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities, enabling them to effectively bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to address their evolving needs and working with cross-functional teams within and outside the organization to achieve business objectives.
Required Skills:
· Experience: 5-8 years as a Business Analyst
· Salesforce Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with Salesforce platform and its applications
· Documentation: Expertise in designing technical and business requirement documents
· Liaison Role: Proven ability to act as a liaison between business and technical teams
· Tools: Proficient in Azure DevOps, FIGMA, VISIO, and MS Office products
· Analytical Skills: Strong requirement elicitation, analytical abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of project scope
· Technical Writing: Capability to prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents, and other technical reports
· Multitasking: Willingness to perform testing duties if needed
· Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Presentation: Strong presentation skills
· Technical Skills: Ability to write basic SQL queries
· Methodology: Experience with Agile methodology
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with IBM Middleware solutions is a plus
Experience in training junior Business Analysts is advantageous
