KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Salesforce Cloud Architect for an immediate contract engagement with our government client.
Work Location: This position is hybrid.
Job Description:
As a Salesforce Cloud Architect, you'll oversee technical aspects of all new and existing Salesforce implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in vendor solution design sessions, offering guidance on extensions, data conversion, environment provisioning, and application integration to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and maintainable solutions.
- Define technical requirements for new projects and enhancements with customers and end users.
- Lead technical workshops and design sessions.
- Present and evaluate design/architecture options, detailing their pros and cons.
- Ensure technical requirements align with customer needs, performance goals, and long-term strategy.
- Understand the technical environments of enterprise applications.
- Review technical architecture deliverables to ensure quality and requirements traceability.
- Hold overall technical responsibility for project environments.
- Develop and enforce internal development guidelines and standards.
- Oversee QA efforts to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
- Communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level, contributing as a trusted voice in decision-making.
- Provide technical leadership, including coaching, mentoring, and setting best practices for integration, application development, deployment, testing, and iterative refinement.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, and 2+ years with Public Sector Foundation for licensing/permitting.
- Experience with at least two full Salesforce lifecycle implementations and a thorough understanding of Salesforce capabilities and constraints.
- Assess Salesforce architecture and provide secure, high-performance technical solutions on the Force.com platform.
- Design and document technical architecture solutions spanning multiple platforms, including integration and authentication across systems.
- Custom development experience with APEX, Force.com, Java, Salesforce Flow Builder, Visual Flow Pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.
- Experience migrating from Workflow rules/Process Builder to Flow Builder.
- Proven implementation of Batch Apex, Apex triggers, and classes.
- Knowledge of web services, REST services, and other data transport technologies in an enterprise environment.
- Ownership of all technical aspects of a Salesforce program, including data modeling, migrations, quality, systems integrations, and 3rd party applications like Clariti Basic Gov and Conga.
- Define, communicate, and manage technical change management processes for Salesforce efforts, including CICD/Release Management.
- Experience with backup and recovery, data seeding using Own (formerly known as OwnBackup).
- Experience using Conga Composer for document generation.
- Identification of risks and issues from a technical perspective.
