 Position Overview

 

The Mobile Engineer 3 (Android) is a seasoned professional capable of independently handling tasks and assignments provided by a Software Development Manager, project technical lead, or team. This role leverages expertise in technology and programming languages to analyze, design, develop, debug, test, modify, and document procedures for the installation and maintenance of technology-related products, web applications, or information support systems. Operating with minimal supervision, this engineer employs industry best practices and organizational policies to address diverse technical challenges. Additionally, this role may lead a small team, functional area, or short-term project. It is an individual contributor position.

 

 Responsibilities

 

- Analyze functional requirements and contribute to technical design creation.

- Utilize Kotlin and Java to create mobile app enhancements and newly developed features

- Serve as a technical lead for a small team, functional area, or short-term project.

- Mentor junior developers, fostering growth and development within the team.

- Develop source code and unit tests according to technical designs.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards.

- Contribute to technical documentation and development strategies.

- Provide task estimates and assist in project planning.

- Engage in the Incident Management process, offering 24/7 issue resolution.

- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, implementing designed measures.

- Apply and advocate for Agile Software Development methodologies and principles.

 

 Qualifications

 

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

- Four years of progressive and relevant professional experience.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Solid understanding of systems, subsystems, and n-tier enterprise systems.

- Proficient in engineering/programming, web technology, and programming methodology.

- Familiarity with Cloud-Based Platforms and services.

- Thorough understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD principles.

- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and programming languages.

- Experience in a professional environment with physical requirements such as prolonged sitting and using computer equipment.
