Who We Are Looking For

We are in search of a talented Software Developer with a keen eye for quality to join our IT Quality Engineering team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). This role involves leading test automation projects to enable our delivery teams to provide superior solutions to our customers swiftly and efficiently. You will work closely with software developers, QA analysts, and fellow SDETs to develop robust, scalable, and reusable test automation suites that will serve as a foundation for future automation efforts, promoting a culture of continuous integration and delivery.

Your Responsibilities as a Software Development Engineer in Test

• Design and implement effective programmatic solutions for testing mobile applications on distributed systems.
• Apply object-oriented principles to create a reusable and extendable automation framework.
• Collaborate with other SDETs to establish and execute procedures for automated functional, load, performance, and stress tests.
• Gather and analyze test metrics, summarize test data, and provide recommendations based on the findings.
• Assess automated tests and tools to identify and address deficiencies.
• Submit, validate, manage, and close defects using a defect-tracking application.
• Develop and implement automated testing solutions within DevOps CI/CD pipelines across various enterprise projects.

Background and Skills Required

• Over 3 years of experience in Automated QA Testing.
• Experience working with Mobile Automation Tools (i.e. Appium)
• At least 2 years of experience with an Object Oriented Programming (OOP) language (i.e. Java or C#) and working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Configuration Management processes and support tools.
• Expertise in unit, integration, system, and functional automated testing.
• Proven experience in implementing automated tests within a CI/CD environment.
• Experience with automated performance/load testing is a plus.

Qualifications That Will Make You Stand Out

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
