KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Sr. Front end web engineer for an immediate 6-12 month consulting engagement with our premier Utah based client.

Job Summary: We are currently seeking experienced software engineers to join our team and play a crucial role in advancing the field of financial technology. Our clients mission is centered on transforming the user experience in the realm of financial data, reaching billions of users worldwide. Our projects involve the management of substantial datasets, and you will collaborate with some of the most accomplished professionals in the technology sector. We offer diverse opportunities across various domains, including software development, design, search algorithms, platform development, quality assurance, big data processing, front-end, and back-end development. As an integral member of our team, your responsibilities will encompass estimating engineering efforts, designing solutions, coding, conducting testing, deploying applications, and resolving any challenges that may arise. We are searching for dynamic, collaborative, and inquisitive individuals who share our vision of innovating financial experiences, enhancing existing products, and building sophisticated systems that promote global financial stability.

 

  • Develop code for software products.
  • Participate in or lead technical discussions with team members and stakeholders to select appropriate technologies.
  • Conduct code reviews for fellow developers and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices, including coding style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
  • Maintain code quality and coding standards through thorough code reviews.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a top-tier technology ecosystem that aligns with our mission of promoting global financial empowerment.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to exceed customer expectations in the most efficient manner.
  • Enhance existing documentation and educational materials, adapting them as needed based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues that may arise in software products by analyzing their origins and impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Actively participate in discussions concerning system architecture and technical design to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for design, implementation, quality, and robust engineering practices within the team.
  • Drive projects and initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality systems and products.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow team members, with a strong focus on feedback and professional growth.


Basic Job Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, demonstrating proficiency in one or more programming languages, with a strong emphasis on data structures and algorithms.
  • Bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, along with an additional 3 years of experience in software design and architecture.
  • Hold a minimum of 3 years of experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Be familiar with source control systems like GitHub or GitLab when working in a team environment.


Advanced Job Requirements (optional):

  • Hold a Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Redux, MobX, or other state management tools.
  • Have experience with Unit, Integration, and End-to-End testing tools such as Jest, react-testing-library, and Cypress.
  • Possess experience in publishing and managing multiple npm packages and dependencies.
