POSITION: Full Stack C# Developer
REQUIREMENT: Must be a US Citizen, Located in the United States
LOCATION: Fully Remote
Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned full-stack C# developer with a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in front-end technologies, C#, PostgreSQL, and Redis. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals on a national system that facilitates data sharing among states. Our current infrastructure is built on AWS using a microservice architecture in .Net 8. (Be ready for a pre-screening and video interview coding challenge)
Key Responsibilities:
- - Collaborate with other developers, domain experts, and end-users to create effective solutions that address business needs.
- - Design and develop full-stack applications that are robust, scalable, and well-thought-out, ensuring comfort with all layers of the stack, from database to front-end.
- - Utilize fundamental programming concepts like SOLID principles and dependency injection.
- - Perform performance analysis, capacity management, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems.
- - Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- - Engage with end-users to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.
- - Contribute to team efforts with strong work ethic and teamwork.
- - Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- - Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- - Actively participate in Agile (scrum) development processes.
- - Engage in continual learning and stay enthusiastic about new technologies.
- - Challenge the status quo by constantly seeking better solutions for technical problems.
Qualifications:
- - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- - C#, .NET 6+, Entity Framework Core expertise.
- - Proficiency in SQL.
- - Experience with WEB API, RESTful services.
- - Knowledge of SOAP, Web services, third-party APIs, and tools like Postman and SoapUI.
- - Familiarity with HTML5, React/Angular/Vue/Blazor, REST, AJAX, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- - Proficient in using version control software like Git.
- - Experience with unit and integration testing.
- - Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, design principles, design patterns, industry best practices, iterative and Agile processes, and secure coding practices.
- - Availability for occasional travel within the United States.
- - Attend client and status meetings, and prepare status reports.
Preferred Experience:
- - AWS Lambda Functions, RDS, and ElastiCache.
- - Familiarity with data infrastructure services such as Amazon SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch.
- - Experience with production AWS environments.
- - Background in user interface design.
- - Experience in Unemployment Insurance is a plus.
