Work Location: This position is hybrid in Lansing, MI.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with expertise in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and advanced T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. The role involves data management, source control (TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT), unit testing, documentation, testing, production support, change management, software development, and ensuring data integrity.

Required Skills:
- Some college education, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline
- Proficiency in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)
- Ability to work in a hybrid office environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- PowerBuilder Development (10 years)
- Modify and document PowerBuilder source code for application data processes.
- T-SQL Query Writing (5 years)
- Write complex SQL queries for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.
- Data Management (10 years)
- Develop processes for data extraction, migration, and cleansing.
- Perform data profiling, mapping, manipulation, validation, and analysis.
- Source Control (5 years)
- Work with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps or GIT.
- Unit Testing (10 years)
- Document and perform unit testing to support program changes.
- Documentation (5 years)
- Create, update, and maintain documentation for programs, system specifications, and flow diagrams.

- Collaborate with clients or Business Analysts to support test scenarios.
- Production Support (10 years)
- Analyze and document problems to determine root cause and provide solutions.
