Job Description
We are looking for a talented and driven ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in optimizing business processes, implementing solutions, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to deliver value through automation and scalability.
How You'll Contribute
- Develop and implement automation components to streamline business processes, reducing the need for extra staffing.
- Ensure employees and service delivery partners can easily locate and prioritize their assigned tasks.
- Improve visibility of ongoing, completed, and scheduled work by project, unit, and customer account.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay current with ServiceNow product releases and ensure optimal use of licensed products.
- Maintain the optimal performance of the ServiceNow platform.
- Minimize customizations to prevent upgrade challenges, keeping components as close to out-of-the-box (OOTB) as possible.
- Coordinate all work and maintenance across production and non-production instances with the ServiceNow team, including contractors.
- Utilize ServiceNow to enable team efficiency across all functions, configuring the platform to deliver measurable benefits.
- Drive process optimization and productivity through automation.
- Understand business requirements and implement solutions using standard design principles and best practices.
- Install and test updates and new releases.
- Assist in troubleshooting patch and release management issues.
- Create reports, dashboards, and workspaces.
- Develop system integrations.
- Collaborate with business partners to configure and enhance core platform capabilities according to best practices.
- Develop administrative documentation, release notes, manuals, policies, process diagrams, and training materials to encourage adoption. Participate in training sessions as needed.
- Coordinate all platform changes with CAB and release management.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code when necessary, following the adopted SDLC for ServiceNow.
- Run test cases and UAT for all configurations and modifications.
- Mentor and support less experienced colleagues.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow components, preferably ITSM, FSM, CSM, PPM, ITAM, ITOM.
- Proven experience in building, modifying, and maintaining workflows across various processes.
- Experience creating portals, workspaces, email templates, and other user-facing elements using company UI/UX standards.
- ServiceNow Certifications, including Administration or higher.
- Demonstrated experience with Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Fulfillment, Work Orders, Customer Cases, etc.
- Familiarity with CMDB, Service Catalog, Asset Management, Stock Rooms, etc.
- ITIL V3 certification.
- Experience with AngularJS, XML, SOAP, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS, AJAX, REST, etc.
