 Role: Accountant II

Join our dynamic team of nine, part of a larger group of over twenty-five professionals managing domestic and international facility expenses. Based in Salt Lake City,

This role offers a hybrid work schedule: three days a week at the office and two days remotely. Candidates must reside in Utah.

 Responsibilities

We seek a driven individual eager to leverage Microsoft Power BI in a data-intensive setting. This role suits someone passionate about continuous improvement, eager to learn, and motivated to develop professionally through mentorship from seasoned experts. Comfort in a collaborative team environment and a keen eye for detail are essential.

As a Data Governance Analyst, you will:

- Apply Power BI for data analysis, streamlining daily operations, and performing audits.

- Receive mentorship from experienced team members.

- Gain valuable, practical experience to enhance your resume.

- Work in an environment that values and supports its employees.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-       Managing accounts payable.

-       Supporting daily operations by:

-       Reviewing, correcting, and posting transactions to the general ledger.

-       Conducting audits and making correcting journal entries.

-       Processing risk transactions.

-       Coordinating data warehouse loads.

-       Troubleshooting issues as they arise.

-       Performing other duties as needed.

Qualifications

-       To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

-       A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

-       At least two years of accounting experience.

-       A proven track record of success in a team setting.

-       Proficiency in Excel (including X-Lookups, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, formulas).

-       Experience or coursework in Microsoft Power BI.

-       The ability to maintain productivity, safeguard equipment, and ensure confidentiality while working remotely.
