Software Developer (Full-Stack)
We are looking for a seasoned Software Developer with full-stack capabilities and a passion for creating innovative solutions to join our client This role offers a chance to work on a team that provides top-notch brand protection and anti-counterfeiting solutions to organizations globally. The ideal candidate should excel in communication, technical skills, critical thinking, and end-to-end solution development.
Role Overview
As a Sr. Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with our software development teams, contributing to projects across various products and platforms. Your responsibilities will include coding in Python/React, collaborating with team members, and developing applications that support our customers and business needs. This role involves aspects of architecture, testing, and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and debug code using Python and React languages.
- Write and execute automated tests (integration and unit tests).
- Manage database data with complex queries (read/joins, inserts).
- Document the software development process.
- Design and implement sophisticated user interfaces emphasizing UI/UX best practices.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable software incrementally.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to drive continuous improvements.
- Share knowledge and expertise across the team.
- Support governance and operational disciplines.
- Conduct code reviews for team members.
- Perform validation testing to catch bugs before deployment.
- Make architectural decisions promoting scalability, usability, and security.
- Deploy code using best practices (configuration as code, CI/CD).
- Ensure application configuration for maximum uptime.
- Facilitate customer/application interactions and communicate expected downtimes and release notes.
- Implement corrective actions for application crashes, instability, or unavailability.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding and commercial experience in developing full-stack applications.
- Experience working in an agile team environment.
- Familiarity with continuous deployment and CI/CD tooling.
- Expertise in solution design and application architecture.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing sophisticated software products.
- Skill in building web applications and web services using Python programming.
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React and Django.
- Proficiency with ORM tools (e.g., Django ORM).
- Experience with source control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of relational databases.
- Ability to mentor others in an agile environment.
- Extensive experience in developing large-scale React applications, including mastery of React concepts like hooks, context, and reconciliation.
- Ability to implement and manage complex state in React applications using libraries like Redux, MobX, or the Context API.
- Proven track record in identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in React applications using techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and memoization.
