We are seeking a Technology Risk Analyst to join the Tech Risk division in Salt Lake City. In this role, you will contribute to threat analysis, risk assessment, and data science initiatives aimed at safeguarding the division and our clients from information and cyber security risks. Our team empowers the division with the necessary knowledge and tools to measure risk, identify threats, and mitigate risks, ensuring the protection of confidential information across various domains.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Spearhead strategic projects by planning and ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide clear communication of project status to key stakeholders and management.
• Identify and address execution risks and issues to minimize project impacts effectively.
• Utilize technology and tools to streamline processes for enhanced efficiency.
• Track incidents and deliverables, driving problem management and engineering solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in completing control reviews, risk assessments, and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in conducting incident/event post-mortems and proposing control enhancements.
• Competence in program/demand management and strategic control remediation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in managing a portfolio of risk management activities.
• Understanding of technology platforms and basic knowledge of IT risk and controls.
• Capacity to identify opportunities to add value and collaborate with colleagues in other business lines.
• Flexibility to work varying hours to meet tight deadlines and deliver under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical details concisely.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for data visualization and effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Background in project/program management with a proven track record of successful solution delivery.
• Proficiency in task management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Experience working as part of a global team.
• A deep understanding of technical aspects of information security, particularly identity and access management.
• Ability to engage with senior business and technology management to drive clarity and conclusions.
