JOB TITLE: Regional Director of Enterprise Sales                     REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President of Sales

 

PURPOSE: The Regional Director of Enterprise Sales is responsible for generating new customers, building customer relationships, and expanding business with existing customers in their assigned region.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Meet the sales targets.
  • Grow assigned your assigned Regions revenue volume by selling our entire book of solutions: Truckload, Logistics, Dedicated, and Private Fleet Conversions.
  • Sell the network to improve density and maximize revenue and profit by selling differentiated value propositions alignment with the Company Commercial strategy.
  • Generate new business opportunities via direct sales through prospecting and managing the lead origination process.
  • Partner with customers to find and develop new opportunities for all service offerings.
  • Coordinate with pricing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure customers are successfully provided a logistics solution that meets their needs.
  • Conduct QBRs with all customers and develop strong business relationships with all levels of their management team.
  • Partner with customers, internal customer service, and regional leadership to solve problems as they may occur.
  • Devise sales tactics to overcome obstacles.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts while routinely adding new customers.
  • Travel as necessary to meet company and customer needs, requiring overnight stays.

 

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATONS, & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 – 7 years successful experience selling full truckload Asset based solutions to either regional or national customers.
  • 3 – 7 years proven ability in selling value added logistics solutions, including: brokerage, dedicated, private fleet, and distribution/warehousing.

  • Astute negotiation skills and ability to build strong business relationships with all levels, including C-level executives.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time independently.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.
  • Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and successfully execute goals in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Must be able to respond to high calls, e-mail volume, and prioritize rapidly.
  • Must have basic knowledge of US geography and strong analytical skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft office required.
