Position: Technical Lead – Front End
Location: 100% Remote within Canada
Status: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $140,000 to $150,000 CAD/annum + Stock Options
Our client is a leading, global, Event Management SaaS company. We’re seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Front End, to help the company take a holistic approach in building the next generation of cross-platform mobile & web apps.
Responsibilities:
- Coaching and Mentoring a team of up to 7 Developers
- Research emerging technologies and tools to increase value to customers
- Guide technical leadership in product and application level architecture choices
- Implement best practices to continuously improve software development processes
- Pair with developers to solve challenging coding problems and tasks
- Build frameworks for measuring performance & scalability
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience using React for frontend development
- 2+ years of experience leading teams of React Developers
- Experience working on SaaS applications/platforms
- Experience working on both Mobile and Web development
- Experience conducting 1:1 meetings, mentorship/coaching, and career progression plans
- Experience road mapping and contributing to technical vision of products
- Experience running stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings
- Excellent written/spoken English and presentation skills
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Capacitor (by Ionic)
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of DevOps & Infrastructure (AWS)
