Position: Project Manager - Healthcare Recruitment and Retention Program

Status: Independent Contractor

Location: 100% Remote within Canada (Central Time Zone)

Duration: 9 months + extension

Compensation: Hourly Rate based on experience and qualifications

Hours: 7.75 Hours/day



Description:


Our client is a leading healthcare institution involved in the planning and coordination of the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. This role will participate in the establishment of a new healthcare recruitment and retention office and play a key roll in planning, coordinating and managing change during the transition.



Requirements:


  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Certification in Change Management
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or management.
  • Ten plus years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Background in working with governmental, healthcare, or other public sector entities to lead multidisciplinary teams, supervise team leaders, and manage organizational change.
  • Five years of experience as a Project Manager within the healthcare sector, including Acute Care, Primary Care, or Long Term Care settings.
  • Five years of experience in human resource management, focusing on the development of recruitment and retention strategies and plans.
  • Experience in planning for the recruitment and retention of healthcare personnel, such as doctors, nurses, paramedics, healthcare aides, and allied health professionals.
  • Five years of experience as a Project Manager executing large-scale transformational organizational redesign projects.
  • Experience employing a structured methodology to implement organizational change management strategies and plans.
  • Three years of experience in data analysis, developing data models, and creating reports to inform data-driven planning.
  • One year of experience as a Project Manager on projects involving labor unions as key stakeholders.
  • One year of experience working with educational institutions to create recruitment and retention strategies for organizations aiming to hire recent graduates.
