Position: Software Engineers (Senior, Principal, Consulting - Multiple Openings)

Location: Holmdel, NJ and San Jose, CA

Status: Permanent, Full Time

Compensation: $130,000 to $220,000+ depending on skills and experience

Our client is an exciting software company that is growing quickly and hiring lots! We're searching for experienced Engineers with expertise in C language and Linux applications who love to code. The ideal candidates will come with a background in data storage or backup applications and can develop algorithms and data structures for multi-threaded high performance software.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and maintenance of software, in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Assist in the development if new product features and integration of modules
• Participate in QA testing process
• Collaborate with support team to fix bugs for clients

Required / desired skills and experience:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent working experience
• Expertise in C programming/development on Linux platform
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Collaborative working style

Bonus skills:

• Python Scripting, Bash Scripting
• Microsoft Development
• Data backup or storage
• pthread
• Security or Ransomware experience
• Experience in embedded systems development with C
• Parallel, distributed or complex system programing
• Machine learning/Artificial Intelligence
