DESCRIPTION

The Hire Solution has partnered with a large transportation company in Dallas for the role of Business Analyst, responsible for Master Data in a JD Edwards ERP environment. This is a fulltime, direct role and the client is actively interviewing now. Responsibilities will include:

  • Master Data Governance Analysts are responsible for assessing and improving the quality of master data to drive efficiencies in business processes, and for developing data governance policies and guidelines to safeguard corporate information.
  • Responsibilities: Responsible for the review, standardization, and de-duplication of various data domains
  • Monitor and remediate data quality issues Serve as an advocate for data accuracy, data quality, and data integrity across the Divisions and Groups
  • Develop an understanding of end-to-end master data processes and flows, and the corresponding business processes
  • Provide system support and data quality governance for master data through data coordination and integration
  • Define and develop Data Governance policies and guidelines
  • Conduct testing and system validation to troubleshoot non-routine and complex issues related to master data management and system
  • Develop master data domain definitions and associated data rules
  • Define and document master data business processes


Qualifications:

  • Legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Masters level preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of master data concepts, standards and processes in a large ERP environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, especially compliance and understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience with JD Edwards ERP in an Accounting, Business Analyst or Master Data capacity
  • Master Data setup and maintenance is preferred
  • Understanding of data quality management principles and best practices SQL coding skills to query databases for data analysis
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in data manipulation using Excel
  • Ability to manage and drive execution for multiple activities and self-manage day to day activities
  • Must be able to thrive in a collaborative environment building partnerships and trust
  • Comfortable with learning new systems, processes and complex data structures/concept
