The Hire Solution has partnered with an industry leading and rapidly growing construction company located in North Austin, Texas, who is known for its commitment to quality and innovation. We operate from a newly renovated office building which is convenient to reach from almost all parts of Austin and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational accounting, particularly in accounts receivable functions such as invoice creation, billing and applying payments made by customers. Experience with Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics, SalesForce or similar ERP systems is highly desired. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring timely collections from clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Process and post customer payments accurately and efficiently into Sage Intacct system.
2. Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
3. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers on overdue payments.
4. Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes promptly and effectively.
5. Communicate with project managers and sales team to ensure accurate invoicing and timely billing.
6. Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports and records for management review.
7. Collaborate with the finance team to improve billing and collection processes.
8. Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
2. 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting role.
3. Proficiency in Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics and SalesForce systems highly desired.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Familiarity with construction industry billing practices is a plus.
7. Must be able to work on-site at our North Austin office.

Compensation:
