Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst (Temporary to Permanent)

Location: Irving, Texas


The Hire Solution has partnered with a leading construction company based in Irving, Texas, for immediate position of Accounts Payable. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team on an immediate temporary to permanent basis.



Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be proficient in using accounting software such as JD Edwards, Sage 100, or similar ERP systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Manage the weekly check run and electronic payment processes.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update vendor files, including W-9s and other required documentation.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and communicate with vendors regarding payment status.
  • Generate and analyze accounts payable reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Sage 100, or similar to maintain accurate financial records.


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Analyst or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards, Sage 100, or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Immediate availability to start.
