Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. This is an on-site position, and candidates must be located in the Austin, Texas area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Perform reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with month-end close processes related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues related to vendor payments or customer invoicing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions in Sage 50 software.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 software is highly desired; experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to resolve issues independently.
  • Candidates must be local to the Austin, Texas area and able to work on-site.
