The Hire Solution has partnered with a prominent Irving based business to hire for the role of Financial Operations Analyst. The Financial Operations Analyst is a full time role with a diverse set of duties that will challenge and motivate anyone who enjoys a fast-paced, multifaceted position. The Financial Operations Analyst also offers high amounts of visibility across the company, reporting on key performance metrics for all of the businesses operating locations. Key responsibilities include:


  • Heavy involvement in the month end close process, which includes consolidating the trial balances of 50 or more entities
  • Verify the accuracy of GL balances and other key metrics, communicating variances to regional stake holders and confirming resolution of differences
  • Load all data and analyses into Oracle and Oracle HFM systems.
  • Track, monitor and report all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) on an entity by entity basis, providing explanations and details for variances to key stake holders
  • Gather and maintain a wide array of data-related business metrics.
  • Distribute daily and monthly sales reports and key monthly reports
  • Organize and maintain various reports that are deployed across the organization
  • Identify changes in financial and business trends, staying current with working capital
  • Assist in developing and maintaining databases, spreadsheets and other tools used to ensure accuracy of all data inputs
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting for 50+ entities
  • Coordinate the pre-close account balance checks
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, annual and semi-annual meeting material and presentations


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of Accounting / Finance experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills using Oracle, SAP, TM1, JD Edwards, Dynamics, Hyperion, HFM highly desired
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel and Power Point proficiency, Vlookup and Pivot Tables used on a daily basis with large data sets and multiple entities
  • Experience working in a multi-location operating environment, with multiple legal entities working with Inter-Company accounting a plus
  • Ability to work from home on weekends if month end falls on a weekend
  • Confidentiality and the highest ethical standards are a pre-requisite
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing work environment
