The Hire Solution has partnered with a north Dallas area manufacturer of firearm components for the position of Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will supervise the accounting department and all areas of financial reporting. Duties will include developing and maintaining accounting principles, best practices, and systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting information. Additional duties to include:

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes in NetSuite ERP system, including Receivables and Payables
• Oversee the company’s financial audits
• Record and research all financial information for analysis
• Assess current business practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
• Assist with the financial forecast and plan according to fiscal needs
• Ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and recorded according to GAAP
• Manage and supervise accounting department employees, responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Qualifications

• Legal eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field
• Previous experience as an Accounting Supervisor, or manager
• Experience with NetSuite (preferred)
• CPA or CMA (preferred)
• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
