The Hire Solution has partnered with a prominent college preparatory school for the position of Accounting Manager. This is a full time position which will have direct supervision and responsibility for all accounting functions at the school, these include management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statements and reporting. Additional duties to include:


Job Details:

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited for the position to:

-         Maintain accounts payable

-         Maintain accounts receivable

-         Coordinate financial aid accounts and tracking

-         Assist with billing

-         Maintain asset, liability and capital account entries

-         Enter month end and year-end adjustments

-         Reconcile financial discrepancies

-         Assist with audits

-         Assist with accounting controls by recommending and preparing policies and procedures

-         Assist with all reporting of financial position

-         Data entry

-         Assist Director of Finance & Operations as needed

 

Required Experience, Degree and Skills:

-         Must have a bachelor’s degree and 3 years experience

-        Legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

-         Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication (written and verbal)

-         Exceptional organization, time management and prioritization skills

-         Experience using QuickBooks, Skyward, Banner, Munis or FACTs software systems highly desired

-         Proficient in Microsoft Office
