Test Technician 


A Test Technician is a crucial member of the quality assurance team responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and performance of products through meticulous testing processes. This role involves executing various tests, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to contribute to the delivery of high-quality products. Test Technicians play a key role in maintaining testing equipment, documenting results, and actively participating in the continuous improvement of testing methodologies. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to upholding established quality standards. Responsibilities:


  • Conduct functional, integration, and regression tests on a variety of products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment and tools to perform accurate and reliable tests.
  • Document and communicate test results to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product specifications and requirements.
  • Assist in the development of test plans and strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Investigate and analyze test failures to identify root causes and work closely with the engineering team to address issues.
  • Document and track defects, providing clear and detailed information to assist in the resolution process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and quality assurance personnel, to ensure a seamless testing process.
  • Provide feedback to the development team on product performance and potential improvements.
  • Adhere to established quality standards and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.



Qualifications 


  • Associates of Applied Science in Electronics or 2-3 years of technical work experience or equivalent military training or currently pursuing degree. 
  • Excellent mechanical ability is essential regarding understanding of mechanics and troubleshooting. 
  • Knowledgeable with using a computer program to control an electronic or electro-mechanical device. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints & electrical schematics in equipment manuals. 
  • 3+ years manufacturing, repair or maintenance experience 



Preferred Qualifications 


  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical systems 
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic and pneumatic schematics
