Sales Director

As a Sales Director, you will lead and manage the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. You will develop and implement strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and build strong client relationships. Your leadership skills and industry expertise will be instrumental in guiding the sales team toward success.


  • Analyze sales data and trends to forecast future sales and set realistic targets.
  • Evaluate sales team performance regularly, providing feedback, coaching, and training as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring efficient and effective sales operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing budgets for dealer development activities and providing sales and market growth forecasts.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain scorecard reports on brand performance, market trends, and progress towards goals; present reports to senior management, providing recommendations for improvement on a regular scheduled basis.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer support to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
  • Collaborate with the factory on product developments, market trends, production forecasts, and order intake.
  • Control expenses, machine & parts discounts and improve margins as agreed upon budget.
  • Ensure customers have access to parts personnel, field service, and other team members as necessary.
  • Ensure the team oversees proper selection, use, and application of equipment, developing a brand for long-term
  • Manage the sales budget effectively, optimizing resources to achieve maximum ROI.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience selling heavy/ capital equipment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with dealer management relative to capital equipment
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Computer literate and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Valid driver's license and passport
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required
  • This position is a hybrid role.
