Business development Manager

Full Time – Permanent  

London 3 days a week 

 

Basic Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 p.a. (depending on experience and proven track record) + 

Commission (OTE Approx £120K+ uncapped) 

 

  • Among their offerings, my client sells Dell (titanium) Quantum Storage Dell/EMC, HPE & Pure 

 

  • customers include BBC, SKY UK, Manchester United TV, Burberry, and many more in M&E, and Corporate environments. 

 

  • We are currently looking to expand our footprint further into corporate markets and require an 
  • experienced BDM to generate new sales opportunities INTO EXISTING CUSTOMERS 

 

  • Across the team of 15 sales people there are circa 400 accounts that are spending for you to target. 

 

  • The successful applicant will be working with the Sales Director focused on selling Quantum, DellEMC, HPE, NetApp and Pure storage, and the associated infrastructure, back-up and archive software, and support services. 

 

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in proactive sales, selling scale-out storage and 
  • infrastructure solutions, at all levels.  

 

  • You will work alongside the current Account Directors to further penetrate existing accounts  

 

  • Candidates will also have solid CRM skills and be able to track the sales process from Lead to Opportunity to the final Sale. 

 

  • You will have the benefit of our in-house technical team and storage consultants to help you specify 
  • and design the right solution to match customer requirements.  

 

  • The role will be reporting directly into the Sales Director and would be expected to work closely on a 
  • mutual business plan. 

 

Essential Experience & Skills to Include: 

• Sales experience of Dell/EMC, HPE, Pure, Quantum, and/or other relevant storage solutions 

• Experience with selling both cloud and on prem solutions 

• Hunter mentality in terms of working with the account managers & their accounts.
