Dynamic Resources has been the trusted provider of retail services for many of the biggest brands in the world. We specialise in the site survey and installation of store fixtures, graphics & visual campaigns and full store construction. We also offer preventative and reactive maintenance services along with logistics, warehousing and training facilities. Every year we complete over 8500 projects around the globe, working for many of the world’s leading retail brands, technology companies, fixture manufacturers and graphic suppliers.

We have 7 office around the globe: Dublin, London, Tokyo, Stuttgart, New-York, Atlanta, and Portland.

Role Summary

To oversee, plan & manage allocated installation & construction programmes & projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, to the required quality and withing cost parameters that achieve the required profit margins. Build, lead, motivate and grow a team of dedicated project co-ordinators & assistants whilst developing and improving the working procedures within the company though various initiatives and continued innovation. To act as key account manager for a portfolio of clients, continuously seek new work opportunities whilst upselling and re-selling to existing clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Day to day programme & project management: establishing project requirements, allocating project resources, co-ordinating services allocated to work on the project from small value up to £2M
  • Preparing, analysing and challenging tenders to form a recommendation for each project
  • Creation and management of project documentation including proposals and bids, contracts, timescale plans (programmes), H&S records, minutes of meetings, drawings, letters of appointment, statements of completion
  • Monitor and control expenses and budgets, including budgets for set projects
  • Manage suppliers & consultants, maintain and seek new relationships, evaluate and feedback
  • Maintain regular & clear communication with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Perform site visits, quality control, snagging and training
  • Manage customer request, complaints and KPIs in a professional manner and escalate where appropriate
  • Lead, inspire and develop a team to support workload with required skills and experience
  • Help towards developing and improving the working procedures within the company
  • Continuously drive business with new and existing clients
  • Ensure administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner

Skills, Behaviours & Experience

Role specific skills

  • Ability to read, understand & annotate architectural and technical drawings
  • Ability to read & create Gant charts to optimise critical flows of complex projects
  • In-depth knowledge of construction and fitout – retail sector an advantage
  • Understanding of H&S regulations including CDM, H&S plans, Site safety
  • On-site experience in managing contractors an advantage
  • Where required will be able to attend out of hours project specific meetings and visits

  • MS collaboration tools (Teams, Sharepoint, One drive) – an advantage
  • MS Project – an advantage
  • CAD software – an advantage
  • Adobe PDF

Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • Background in Construction management, Project management, Architecture, Interior design, Engineering or Quantity surveying is preferred but not exclusive
  • H&S training / Certification (e.g. CSCS) an advantage
  • ARB / RIBA / APM / RICS membership an advantage
  • Any other relevant training
  • Previous experience working in or for retail brands a distinct advantage
  • Previous experience of managing project and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Fluency in English and at least one other language a significant advantage

Expected start date: 31/8/2021

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
