Real Estate Accounting Manager

ISC’s team of Financial Services Recruiters has been retained by a leading and highly ranked Multi-Family Office & Trust Company on an Accounting Manager opportunity. They are looking to add a key player to their Pasadena office as they continue to grow and expand.

Responsibilities:

·        Manage month-end and year-end closings.

·        Prepare 1099 forms and request W-9 forms when necessary.

·        Process invoices and prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.

·        Develop depreciation schedules and annual property tax reports for client’s businesses.

·        Continuously communicate financial updates to clients.

·        Conduct underwriting reviews, property analysis, and due diligence for new investments.

·        Evaluate financial statements and propose accounting services for real estate clients.

·        Collaborate on developing new business opportunities representing the RE team.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

·        CPA or Advanced Accounting Degree, preferred.

·        7+ years of accounting experience including real estate entities.

·        Demonstrates professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.

·        Team oriented and capable of effectively communicating internally and with clients.

·        Knowledgeable in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and Yardi.

·        Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
