Sales Manager

ISC’s team of Hospitality Recruiters is partnering with a leading and highly ranked Hotel and Golf Club on a Sales Manager opportunity in the sunny Monterey Peninsula.

This is a fantastic position for a driven and passionate sales manager, from the hotelier or tourism space, to take on a Hunter/New Business Development role supporting the thriving Sales & Marketing team at a highly prestigious hotel. The Sales Manager will have the opportunity to curate/implement strategic sales plans and oversee all aspects of account development, while cultivating client relationships to foment revenue within all facets of the property.

Sales Manager Requirements- To qualify, you should have the following:

·        3+ years’ relevant Hunter/New Business Development sales experience in a relevant industry (tourism and/or hospitality, etc.)

·        1 year of Sales Management experience with at least 1 direct report

·        Outstanding communication, polish and interpersonal skills

·        Proven track record of high sales activity targeting similar clientele

·        Knowledge of Star Reporting Analysis and Golf/Country club sales, a plus

Sales Manager Responsibilities- The duties for the role are as follows:

·        Oversee all aspects of account development, including sales presentations, site inspections, client entertainment, and sales trips as needed

·        Foster client relationships by conducting property tours and maintaining regular communication before/after events to ensure overall success

·        Create/implement sales action plans targeting key segments such as group/FIT sales, set activity targets (sales calls, etc.), and provide weekly activity summaries for review by the Director of Sales and Marketing

·        Monitor direct report (Sales Coordinator) for effectiveness in adhering to overall business plan
